Human Rights in COVID-Times - An Online Forum in Honour of David Petrasek

The University of Ottawa in partnership with a huge range of global human rights organisations held a memorial event in honour of the late David Petrasek.

The event was opened by the current United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet. Global human rights topics were then explored in the contex of COVID-19 with three former United Nations High Commissioners, Mary Robinson, Louise Arbour, and Zeid Ra'ad Al-Hussein. IHRB's Salil Tripathi offered his own reflections on the genius and legacy of his close friend.
